The Scouts Guild
Role
Led by Lady Serren the scouts guild provides much of the information
about what is going on in the kingdom to the Erin court. The
headquarters of the guild is located towards the South West of the city
of Brenna, although there are many other bases throughout the city.
The guild is
responsible for many things including the rooting out of traitors within
the kingdom, the providing of up to date information on enemy movements
and other more dubious aspects such as espionage.
Rumours
It has been long rumoured that
there are several societies within the guild that control the different
aspects of it’s businesses. There are also rumours that Lady Serren may
not be all she seems to be following a meeting of the various guilds
during which she was seen to transform into a bestial creature. No-one
however can doubt her loyalty to the king and those that have met early
and some what suspicious deaths. It is thought that she commands a group
of highly trained assassins, one of the societies of the Guild. The
identity of these men and women is a closely kept guild secret and these
highly trained individuals are thought to be used by the king and guild
to prevent unseemly events before they happen.
Membership
As with all the guilds there is a membership fee for joining this
organisation. The guild currently charges 10 stells for membership and
a 5 stell tithe per adventure. In return members have access to some
guild resources depending upon their standing within the guild and their
experience. Members are also expected to make available any magic items
they have for use by other guild members. This does not mean you have to
donate every item you have to the Guild but if you start hoarding them
you may get a visit from some-one not particularly nice with a few
questions about your motivations for the guild.
