The Warriors Guild

Role

Open to anyone who can swing a sword, wear armour and follow orders whether it be in battle or on the parade ground, the Warriors Guild contains some of the most talented weapon masters of the realm. The guild is located near the Brenna city centre close the Palace and contains barracks, blacksmiths and the ancient guild hall that is said to date back some 500 years.

Leadership

The Warriors Guild was leaderless for many months, after Sir Fleish disappeared whilst out in the Eastern reaches fighting against the beasts. It is though he perished there as parts of his armour, a powerful Guild relic, have been surfacing in different places of late.

Recently, a new leader has been chosen, and his identity was revealed at the Congregation of Guilds hosted by the Mages Guild in the autumn of AC 3458. The new leader is expected to be confirmed soon by the Council of Twelve.

Activities

The Warriors Guild members vary from adventuring fighters to member of the army. They all undergo rigorous training once they have joined and are expected to be ready for the call to arms in the event of Erin being threatened. Its members enjoy the benefit of high calibre training and are able to purchase armour and weapons at reduced prices. They are however not just swords for hire and have a strict code of honour which failure to adhere to can result in quite severe punishment and expulsion from the guild.

Some of the Guild's most talented members form part of the King’s own personal guard, a position that all it’s members regard as a high honour and something to push for at all times.

Membership

The Warriors Guild has a 5 Stell membership fee and prospective members can only join if they go out on an adventurer with a more senior member of the Guild who will evaluate their weapon skills and worthiness. Members can claim a 10% discount on weapons and armour purchased in Brenna - this is cumulative with any discounts they may have through skills.
